In 2015, a new private nursing home was inaugurated in the heart of Courbevoie, although the region already has a large number of these establishments. The proximity of the train station, shops, and services facilitates the access and social life of the residents.
The modern building, six floors long, offers a high-quality place with real comfort and high standing. The rooms, all individual (sometimes communicating), are spacious (from 21 to 27m²) and are equipped with a private shower, suitable furniture, a call system, a telephone, and a plasma screen. Residents have the possibility to personalize their rooms by bringing their own furniture (chest of drawers, desk, armchair, curtains) in order to keep their ambiance, landmarks, and sentimental belongings filled with history. Two protected units (30 beds) are specially designed to accommodate people with cognitive disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease. Each floor operates autonomously, with its own lounge and dining room.
Other living and well-being spaces are spread throughout the building: a hairdressing and beauty salon, a library equipped with a large screen, a rehabilitation room and a balneotherapy, a care center, a gym, a snoezelen space, and a therapeutic bathroom.
In addition, despite its location in a dense urban environment, a large landscaped garden of 1,600 m² is arranged at the back of the building, facing south, offering a calm and peaceful space. It is composed of different areas and themes: a sheltered terrace, aromatic gardens, an aviary, a boules court, a rose garden, a pergola, a calm-orchard garden, and a fountain.
The Villa relies on the experience of the Ambroise Paré, Pierre Cherest, Hartmann, and Bizet medical-surgical centers group to ensure and adapt medical follow-up according to the profile of each resident and their evolution. The care team is complete, including a coordinating doctor, nurses, nursing assistants, caregivers, a psychomotor therapist, an occupational therapist, and a resident psychologist, as well as external practitioners such as doctors, physiotherapists, pedicurists, speech therapists, and podiatrists.
The implementation of individual or collective animation projects is done based on the residents' interests in media (music, photography, painting, writing, reading, etc.), their tastes and habits (cooking, gardening, sports, handicrafts, etc.), and the calendar (Candlemas, Easter, music festival, etc.). Thus, there is no typical program, but a range of activities chosen based on these variables.
The catering is done on-site by a chef, and meals are served à la carte.
All the services offered are of high quality, however, the rates are not negligible. It should be noted that a residence for the elderly, adjacent to the nursing home, offers studios and apartments up to three rooms.
